What we do
Sample sales are short, often announced at a few days’ notice, and spread across organizers’ newsletters, Instagram stories and showroom flyers. We put every one in New York in one place, with the facts a shopper actually needs: dates with the year, daily hours, the address, the real discount range, whether you need to RSVP, and whether they take cards.
How we verify every sale
- Found: new sales come from organizer and brand announcements, reader submissions and a daily scan of public sample-sale calendars.
- Checked: before a sale is published, a person confirms the dates, hours, venue and entry rules against the organizer’s or brand’s own announcement.
- Re-checked daily: while a sale is upcoming we re-check it every morning. Changed hours or dates are corrected, and cancelled sales are taken down.
- Dated: every sale page shows when it was last checked, and ended sales say so clearly.
Independence
We are not owned by, or paid by, any brand or organizer, and we don’t sell tickets or products. Discounts are reported as organizers announce them; when a discount isn’t confirmed we say “to be confirmed” rather than guess.
Corrections and contact
Spotted a wrong date, or know about a sale we’re missing? Send it through the submit a sale form — corrections are usually live the same day.

Is SampleSalesNYC affiliated with the brands or organizers?
No. We are an independent guide. We are not paid to list a sale, and we don’t sell tickets or products.
How do you check that a sale is real?
Every sale is checked against the organizer’s or brand’s public announcement before it goes on the site, and re-checked daily while it is upcoming. Each sale page shows the date it was last checked.
I spotted a mistake. How do I tell you?
Use the submit a sale form — choose the sale and describe the change. Corrections are usually live the same day.
Do you track me?
Only anonymous page counts, without cookies: no names, no IP addresses, and nothing shared with advertisers. Google Analytics runs through Google Tag Manager.
